Ravi Jayasekera is the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief People Officer of Hemas Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka. With over 20 years in HR leadership, Ravi is known for his ability to transform organisations through innovative, people-focused strategies.

Ravi's career began in the banking sector, starting in business roles at ANZ Grindlays Bank before transitioning to HR. He has held senior HR leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC, including roles such as Head of HR for Sri Lanka, Australia, and Mauritius, and Senior Manager Group HR at HSBC. His notable achievements include leading the People and Culture transformation at Union Bank of Colombo following its acquisition by TPG.

As Vice President of the Association of HR Professionals, Ravi champions community building in HR and advocates for continuous upskilling of HR professionals.
