With a proven track record of growing various HR functions and heading Centers of Excellence for Globalization, Usability, Accessibility, Securability and Business Intelligence worldwide, Sakaar brings a perfect blend of people, process & technology.

Prior to joining BMC, Sakaar was the head of HR for BNY Mellon Technology in India. He has had a long stint with CA Technologies where he was the strategic advisor to the president and chief product officer of the company. He has also held leadership roles in General Electric and American Express.

Sakaar is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and faculty for Leadership and Professional Skills courses in Change Management and Six Sigma.

He holds a B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, India.

In addition to his responsibilities at BMC, Sakaar is a guest speaker at various educational institutions and industry forums and writes articles for prestigious publications.

On the personal space, he is married to Nidhi and has one daughter. He enjoys watching hindi movies, listening to ghazals and does accommodate a few rounds of golf in his weekend schedule.
