Ms. Usha Singh is the first Director (HR) of MOIL LIMITED.

MOIL is the largest Manganese ore producer in the country with market share of around 50%. MOIL is a Schedule-A Mini Ratna Category-I PSU and has been making profits year-after-year from decades.

Prior to this, Ms. Singh was Executive Director (Personnel & Administration) heading Personnel, HRD, CSR, Administration and other related functions at NMDC. She was also heading the Business Development and Corporate Planning functions at NMDC.

Ms. Singh has also worked for 25 years in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) which includes 8 years as a Technical Advisor to Chairman, SAIL.

She is an Engineering Graduate and an MBA, who has more than 30 years of professional experience.

Ms. Singh has been nominated among the Top 100 Global inspirational Women in Mining in 2020. She also has several awards to her credit, which includes, ‘SCOPE Outstanding Woman Manager’ and ‘Best Employee Award’ in SAIL. She has authored and presented several papers in national as well as international conferences.
